A Bleeding Panda Blog Guest Compilation by Bagheera Münchgstettner

What?
I am very happy to bring you True Horrors Vol 01 - the first in a series of Bagheera Münchgstettner's compilations.

Spooky, reverberated, metallic and wet it sounds like a dying promise or a that last, really bad cough that snatches away your breathe. From the energetic screams of Diamanda Galas over Rechenzentrum's barren Ahab and Hands In The Dark by Chromatics to the humorous, dancy and demented John Maus this compilation is a great intro for Bagheera's future works.

Enjoy this fine selection of bleached life and stand by for the excellent Vol. 02.

Tracklist
01 Diamanda Galas - Judgement Day (1992)
02 I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness - The Owl (2006)
03 Gus Gus - Is Jesus Your Pal (1996)
04 A Blaze Colour - Through With Life (1982)
05 Rechenzentrum - Ahab (2001)
06 Chromatics - Hands In The Dark (2007)
07 Peaches - I'm The Kinda (2003)
08 Twisted Wires - The Hunted (unreleased)
09 Disciplina Kičme - Novac Neće Doći (1985)
10 Second Layer - Japanese Headset (1981)
11 Metallic Falcons - Misty Song (2006)
12 Burzum - Dunkelheit (1996)
13 Sebastien Tellier - Kissed By You (2001)

Yeah mister Panda, we know its very difficult to update constantly in a blog, specially if you share such exquisit music.
So, there, you are missed when you are other places.
And this is a great blog enjoyed, at least, by me, a real alive person living and breathing in mexico.

cheers!

Hey there Panda. Good to see you're still alive and kicking. I was checking out the "In-Kraut" comp in my local record store today and was thinking "Wow, sounds like something I could have downloaded at Bleeding Panda." Funny that your blog should be one of the first results on Google when I searched for info on the comp.

I'm downloading the True Horrors comp now, looks great. I've been on a 'creepy music' kick recently - check out Klaus Schulze's "Irrlicht" for a great early example of seriously dark sounding electronic space music.

Take care!
